Institutionalizing FSSM services in Wai Municipal council

Wai Municipal Council (WMC) has been providing scheduled desludging service since 2018. For smooth implementation and monitoring of Wai's FSSM services, additional responsibilities are required to be carried out by WMC staff. This slide deck describes the existing staff structure of WMC, roles and responsibilities of various staff members and the mechanisms that are being used for monitoring various services provided by the sanitation department. This document further suggests on how the FSSM services could be institutionalized into its day-to-day operations of WMC staff and the nature of capacity building efforts required.
