Using Sani Tab for monitoring scheduled emptying operations in two cities in Maharashtra – Wai and Sinnar

Inspired from Wai and Sinnar’s experience, SaniTab has found its application in monitoring the scheduled desludging operations in these two cities of Maharashtra. Initially developed as a data collection tool, SaniTab has aided the cities in taking an informed approach to improve service efficiency by leveraging the database. SaniTab has enabled easier handling of data and can easily be shared with all the stakeholders. This slide deck gives an understanding of usage of SaniTab to review the performance of the private sector running desludging operations in these cities. It also highlights how SaniTab has enabled Wai and Sinnar Municipal Councils to take a data-oriented approach towards monitoring sanitation service delivery.
