Service level improvement plan
Unlike typical ‘infrastructure investment plans’, ‘Service level improvement plans’ developed by CWAS include a wide set of actions including policy and process reengineering in addition to infrastructure requirement. Each city has different priority areas for service level improvement. Therefore, support has been provided to cities for service level improvement plans in their priority areas. These priority areas are open defecation, faecal sludge management, 24x7 water supply, Non-revenue water, cost recovery, services in slums etc. Based on local consultations, these improvement plans are prepared in partnership with government officials.
