Action points for Private sector engagement for Citywide IFSM services

The IFSM plan is being explored for two cities, Wai and Sinnar in Maharashtra, where PPP is being explored for provision of IFSM services. The proposals have been presented and discussed at a national workshop on 'Decentralised sanitation -Introducing best practices for septage management in hilly areas', organised by the Asian Development Bank on December 10, 2014, as well as in the 15th Sanitation Community of Practice (SanCoP) meeting on Faecal Sludge Management, Wastewater Treatment and Reuse, held on November 4, 2014.
