The presentation describes application of a decision support system for city-level sanitation planning. SANIPLAN, a tool developed by PAS team helps city level planners and decision-makers to evaluate various technology options on the basis of their capital and operating costs and helps identify a financing plan for this investment. The tool also enables computation of O & M costs and the optimal level of tariff that can meet these costs.
