2nd IWA Development Congress & Exhibition -Status in India: PI (Performance Indicators) Application and the Road to Strategic Asset Management

This presentation was made at the 2nd IWA Development Congress & Exhibition organised in November 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (more information is available on www.iwa2011KL.org). The presentation highlights water and sanitation assessment in two states in India under PAS Project and calls for a systematic approach to assess performance, track investments and outcomes. It builds a case for a systematic shift from performance assessment to developing strategic asset information database.
