Service Level Benchmarks : Moving from Measurement to Monitoring and Improvement

CEPT University along with the Ministry of Urban Development organised a National Workshop on "Service Level Benchmarks (SLB): Moving from Measurement to Monitoring and Improvement" on February 6-7, 2013 at Ahmedabad with the Water and Sanitation Programme (WSP) of the World Bank and Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI). The workshop reviewed and shared experiences of various states for setting up systems for measuring and monitoring performance using the SLB Framework. The participants deliberated on a number of aspects related to the concepts of service level benchmarking and building capacity for States and ULBs to internalise the same in their planning and monitoring.
