Faecal Sludge and Septage Management in India - From Policy to Practice

The IRC conducted a workshop at the IWA Water and Development Congress Exhibition held at Colombo on Strengthening the System: Acting on Systemic Approaches to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. As a part of this workshop, a case study of India was presented on exploring how the idea FSSM is transformed from policy to practice in India. The presentation emphasizes on the important role played by different levels of government in moving an initiative from policy to practice.
