Most small towns in India have onsite sanitation and face issues in collection, treatment, and safe disposal of faecal waste. Often there are private sector contractors who provide this service. This toolkit has been designed to assist ULBs in assessing the need for private contractor participation in FSM, identifying the right players to engage with, and planning and managing their performance.
