SFD ('Shit Flow Diagram') is a visualization tool that summarizes the sanitation service chain into an easy-to-understand diagram by showing the containment of excreta. This year, as part of activities preceding SWWW 2016, a SFD Exchange Meeting was organized for SuSanA partners, practitioners and local authorities with experience in using SFDs. Dr. Dinesh Mehta gave a presentation on "Developing SFDs from Performance Assessment Data in India" which explains how PAS Project, using its extensive UWSS database of cities and sanitation assessment framework, can generate SFDs.
