Workshop for Academic Institutes on Faecal Sludge and Septage Management

In recent years, there is increasing attention being paid to Faecal Sludge and Septage Management (FSSM). However, there is a dearth of qualified professionals who can plan and implement FSSM activities. There is an urgent need to impart skills and knowledge about FSSM to students of Engineering, Planning and other allied disciplines. In this regard, a two-day workshop was organized by NIUA and C-WAS, CEPT University. The workshop aimed to appraise the faculty members of the academic institutes on FSSM and discussed how FSSM can be made part of their course curriculum.
