IWA Water and Development Congress Exhibition 2019

The IWA Water and Development Congress and Exhibition is a forum for dialogue and partnership to discuss water and sanitation, urban water management, sustainable development, water security and emerging economies. CWAS was actively involved in this Congress. (i) A workshop on “Sustainable implementation and scaling up of faecal sludge and management models in developing countries” was co-organized by CWAS and IWMI. (ii) A presentation on FSM Business Models in India was made at “Acting on Systematic Approaches to achieving the SDGs” workshop by CWAS. (iii) Two platform presentations on urban water security planning and management were addressed at the conference. (iv) The team also presented three poster presentations focusing on various topics such as FSM and urban water security.
