FSM Landscape Study of Maharashtra

Maharashtra is one of the most urbanized states in India, with 45% of its population living in urban areas. Analysis results of PAS and Census data suggest that there are significant gaps across the sanitation value chain in urban Maharashtra. This study presents the FSM landscape in Maharashtra, categorizing cities based on size, type and FSM capacity. It also recommends possible approaches to FSM Planning and PSP for each of these categories.
