Recommendations for Improving Information Documentation for Water Supply in Navsari
June 2012Results from PAS studies show that Navasari Municipality performs better in nearly all indicators when compared to class average or overall average of Gujarat state. However, despite high values of indicators, the service delivery on ground was found to be below satisfactory according to field surveys. This study aims to conduct a rapid assessment of information collection and reporting processes involved of water supply system in Navsari and recommend improvements in information documentation/ recording practices to enable decision makers monitor and to plug the gaps in equitable service delivery.
