Plumbers training on rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge

CWAS with technical support from Sujalaam, conducted a one-day training workshop for plumbers at Gandhidham Municipal Council. The workshop focused on practical demonstrations of rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge techniques. With the increasing impacts of climate change and growing need for sustainable water management, the training aimed to raise awareness about the importance of rainwater harvesting and highlighted the critical role plumbers play in the installation of such systems. The session included both capacity building and hands-on training, empowering plumbers with the skills and knowledge to support water conservation efforts in the city.
