Budget briefs for Wai and Sinnar cities

Budget documents are often lengthy and sometimes difficult to understand. In this context, CWAS supported development of Budget Briefs for two cities-Wai and Sinnar municipal council in Maharashtra, which helped the cities in creating transparency while preparing their budgets and also helped boost local participation and citizen engagement during the budgeting process. The budget briefs for Wai and Sinnar were prepared in the local language so that it could be easily communicated to the councilors and the citizens.
