Water Experts Rooundtable Meeting - Transitioning from Non-Daily to Daily Water Supply System

A Water experts roundtable was organised by Gandhidham Municipal Corporation in partnership with the Center for Water and Sanitation (CWAS), CRDF, CEPT University to review the current water supply situation and deliberate on pathways for shifting to daily supply at the Gandhidham Chamber of Commerce. The roundtable brought together over 30 experts from CEPT University, GWSSB, GUDC, and other consultants, with WRI and TCE participating online, to review the current water supply situation and deliberate on pathways for shifting to daily supply. A site visit to Ward 2B headworks was conducted to assess the feasibility of a trial daily water supply, with reviews of existing machinery and discussion with valve operators, in the presence of GUDC and GWSSB, to confirm water availability and network readiness.
