Demand Assessment Survey for Sanitation Credit in Maharashtra

This study highlights the extent and nature of demand for sanitation finance in urban Maharashtra. It was carried out to understand the condition and the extent to which financial constraints affect SBM implementation and to understand the extent to which households are aware of financing options and reasons for not applying for the SBM scheme despite being eligible for the same. The study was conducted by IMRB.
