SHG Business Models in FSSM sanitation chain

This is an exploratory study focusing on involving Self Help Groups (SHGs) in FSSM sanitation chain. It captures various business models which the SHGs can adopt across the value chain. It illustrates business models on SHG’s operating and maintaining CT/PT, involving SHGs in desludging services and SHGs operating and maintaining FSTPs. The business model includes the details of funding and financing, mode of operations, monitoring and performance evaluation, risk involved and capacity building requirements.
