The Jal Samvad organised by GWICA and CSRBOX served as a platform for dialogue and exchange, bringing together NGOs, practitioners, researchers, and industry partners to reflect on pathways towards basin-level water resilience. Upasana Yadav and Priyadarshini Choudhary from the CWAS team presented their work on urban water management and water security and actively engaging with diverse stakeholders to share experiences and insights during the consultation. The discussions ranged from community-led watershed management and groundwater recharge to landscape restoration and urban water solutions reinforcing the idea that water is not just a resource, but a shared responsibility. Key reflections highlighted the importance of community ownership, cross-sector collaboration, integrating local knowledge with scientific approaches, and scaling impact through collective action.
