Leadership Development Course on CWIS - Step by Step approach for scheduled desludging

An Online Certification Course on Leadership Development for Citywide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) with a Climate-Resilient Approach was jointly organised by the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) and the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI).
During the course, CWAS was invited to present its work on CWIS and share its on-ground experiences from Maharashtra. In one of the sessions, CWAS presented the CWIS Framework and its adoption across select towns in Maharashtra as well as at the state level. The session highlighted practical pathways for operationalising CWIS by strengthening inclusive service delivery across the entire sanitation value chain, along with key lessons for scaling and sustaining urban sanitation solutions.
