Jayshree Bhingardeve
Research AssociateJayshree has been associated with CWAS since 2022. She is an Urban Planner and has completed her B.Planning from COEP. At CWAS her work is centered on supporting the PAS project within Maharashtra's Directorate of Municipal Administration. Her role involves conducting performance assessments of urban water supply and sanitation services across all Urban Local Bodies in Maharashtra with data analysis, capacity building initiatives and progress monitoring. In particular, she focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of urban services and ensuring they meet the standards set by various Finance Commissions, including the 15th and 16th Finance Grants for Urban Agglomerations, Million plus cities (MPCs), and non-million plus cities (NMPCs). In addition to WASH monitoring and data, her expertise spans Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), urban infrastructure, sustainable development and effective governance practices in urban areas.
