Residential Training Programme on Water Supply & Wastewater for Municipal Engineers

The Urban Development Department in collaboration with the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) organized a five-day residential training programme on Urban Planning and Urban Development work for around 25 Junior Town Planners & Planning Assistants. As part of this training workshop, CWAS was invited as speaker to conduct 2 sessions on 27th Sept. Dhruv Bhavsar and Jay Sah took sessions on 'WASH programme and its importance in city planning' and 'Performance Assessment System & Service Level Benchmarks for Water and Sanitation' respectively. These participants were selected from all the 6 regions across Gujarat who were having experience ranging from 4 to 12 years. The sessions pivoted around discussions on interesting topics such as 24x7 water supply for urban areas, access to PAS data and so on.
