The IWA Water and Development Congress & Exhibition 2025 was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 8–12 December 2025. The 2025 edition was co-hosted by the Asian Institute of Technology and centered on the theme “Water, sanitation, and innovation – pathways to progress and a resilient future.” CWAS team showcased and actively participated its work across various platforms, including technical sessions, high-level summits, panel discussions, workshops, poster pitch presentations, and poster exhibitions.
At the congress, Gandhidham Municipal Corporation, supported by CWAS-CRDF received the IWA Climate Smart Utilities award at the IWA Water and Development Congress 2025 for advancing its journey towards climate-resilient water management and Satara Municipal Council, supported by CWAS-CRDF received the IWA Climate Smart Utilities award at the IWA Water and Development Congress 2025.
