Climate Resilient WASH in Ichalkaranji - Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and Community Engagement

Cities are increasingly facing the dual challenge of managing too much water during the monsoon and too little during the summer. In Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra, this reality is becoming more pronounced as rapid urbanization, growing pressure on groundwater resources, and the loss of permeable green spaces alter the way water moves through the city. To address these challenges, CWAS is implementing an initiative focused on Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) for climate-resilience in vulnerable areas.
