7th UCLG ASPAC Congress - Making cities ODF+ in Maharashtra

UCLG ASPAC Congress is a biennial event that brings together key development actors across Asian and Pacific countries to exchange ideas and experiences on local government attainment of global agendas such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and New Urban Agenda (NUA). This year's event, hosted by the Surabaya City Government and United Cities and Local Government Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) carried the theme 'Innovation-Driven Development for Sustainable Cities'. Dr. Dinesh Mehta made a presentation on Maharashtra cities in the session on Sanitation and Solid Waste Management.
