C. K. Koshy
Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Gujarat (Retd.)Mr. C K Koshy is a retired IAS officer with a career spanning 37 years in the Govt. of Gujarat and the Govt. of India. He was the Founder & Managing Director of the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat, the Managing Director of the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam, Joint Managing Director of the Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation (GIIC) and Secretary of crucial state government departments such as Revenue, Industries and Finance.
He has also served as Executive Director of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India a PSU under the Govt of India and as Financial Advisor to the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt of India. He retired in 2005 at the post of Additional Chief Secretary.
Since his retirement, he has been deeply involved in higher education and research. At CEPT University, he has taught Governance, Public Policy and Finance courses to post-graduate students in the Faculty of Planning.
He has also been associated with the setting up of the Centre for Heritage Management at Ahmedabad University where he helped design the curriculum and launch a post graduate course in Heritage Management.
He has been an advisor to urban research programs at DFID (now FCDO - Govt. of UK), the World Bank and Adam Smith International. He has been instrumental in guiding the work at CEPT Research and Development Foundation (CRDF), in his role as Advisor and, at the PAS Project, as part of the Project Advisory Committee.
